Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment while executing corrective and preventive maintenance schedules. Diagnose faults, replace parts, and perform complex troubleshooting using hand tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Interpret technical manuals, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams to ensure proper closure of assigned activities. Comply with safety regulations, maintain clean work areas, and report defective materials or unusual situations to supervision. Work on a three rotating shift pattern with a competitive salary and exceptional benefits.
Required Qualifications
- at least an engineering NITEC cert or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering
- equivalent number of years of education
- In-depth understanding of machine tools
- experience in the machine maintenance
- Good understanding of industry regulations and best practices of asset management and production maintenance
- Knowledge of Maximo system
- Ability to work on a 3 rotating shift pattern
Desired Qualifications
- equipment maintenance and manufacturing experience
- leadership and knowledge/exposure with continuous improvement methodologies such as six sigma/ LEAN
- Licensed Electrical workers (LEW)
- CNC Machines
- Vacuum Furnaces and Hot Forming Rigs
- Chemical Lines
- Blasting, Peening, Spraying and Polishing Machines
- Robotics Inspection Machines (X-Ray, Geometrical, CMM)
