Job Summary
Lead process transfer from R&D to manufacturing and own end-to-end improvements for fermentation workflows to improve operability, consistency, and scalability. Optimize processes for yield, quality, and environmental performance; troubleshoot scale-up challenges; and partner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to build reliable processes. Core engineering role with direct impact on scaling operations. PhD plus ~5+ years in fermentation/bioprocessing; strong problem-solving in fast-moving environments; experience simplifying complex processes without sacrificing performance. Bonus for background in ag biotech or bioinoculants.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in a related field (fermentation, bioprocessing, biochemical engineering) with ~5+ years of experience in fermentation development and scale-up
