Job Summary
Implement the manufacturing process in the plant as received from process development or the customer, securing success during technology transfer by applying formal processes to handle information transfer, process risks, and change control. Participate in GMP risk analysis, leading or coordinating cross-functional teams to manage the entire project lifecycle from planning through completion. Execute qualification and validation activities in compliance with cGMP regulations, while contributing to standardized procedures and driving continuous improvement of process performance and product quality. Proactively resolve scientific and technical challenges, act as a mentor to staff, and serve as the primary link between Drug Product Services, formulation, process development, QC, and manufacturing. Perform process monitoring, control strategy management, and sophisticated data analysis. This role is based in Visp, Switzerland, with relocation available for the candidate and family.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Process Engineering or equivalent scientific degree
- More than 3 years of proven track record in the area of sterile manufacturing on the shopfloor and/or MSAT, QA/QC
- Proficiency in English
- Proven process understanding in sterile manufacturing (Pharma, Regulatory aspects, freeze-drying)
- Very good interpersonal skills with all kinds of interfaces within customers and the project organization
- Strong team orientation and collaboration across groups within a matrix organization
- Structured, focused and well-organized working demeanor
- Open-minded for new insights and suggestions
- Agile, highly motivated and dynamic drive
- Driven to resolve issues
