Job Summary

Coordinate and guide the successful execution of clinical and commercial manufacturing of mammalian cell-based biotherapeutics while ensuring cGMP compliance. Create and maintain the Daily Production Schedule, lead cross-functional operations coordination, and develop improved scheduling tools for Redmond and Seattle Mfg. Plants. Deliver capacity planning models to align the Master Production Schedule with required resources for staff, equipment, and utilities. Provide support for schedule accommodations related to project work, plant shutdowns, and corrective action implementation. Understand critical parameters of Planning Systems, harness data, and drive continuous improvement of productivity and efficiency in all plant operations and computer systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 1 years plus of Manufacturing & Operations experience
  • Associate's degree and 3 years plus of Manufacturing & Operations experience
  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Manufacturing & Operations experience
  • Experience with finite scheduling tools and allocation of resources and equipment
  • Experience providing presentations to upper management and/or business clients
  • Good interpersonal, team, and communication skills
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and independent with the ability to initiate and drive goals
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and/or cross train colleagues
  • This role is site based

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Capacity Planning tools (eg: Smartsheet/SAP/Microsoft BI/SchedulePro)
  • Experience with relevant ERP and Planning systems
  • Experience in GMP Support roles, GMP operations or process development
  • Technical knowledge of upstream and/or downstream processing and broad understanding of related disciplines
  • Ability to organize, analyze/interpret, and effectively communicate data and results with internal and external colleagues in both presentation and technical writing forms
