Job Summary

Manage manufacturing resources, personnel, and operational readiness by partnering with the Maintenance Manager and Quality Director to define standards, lead operational audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate daily priorities, labor allocation, and staffing while overseeing TPM, Lean, and 6S programs to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. Lead weekly operations meetings, monitor workforce utilization, and drive employee development through one-on-one coaching and training needs analysis. Utilize BlueStreak systems for maintenance visibility and support corrective actions for nonconformances. Work collaboratively across Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Technical leadership to align maintenance activities with operational schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the United States (i.e., a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, a non-resident, authorized to work in the U.S. without ThermTech sponsorship)
  • This position must satisfy ITAR (DSP-5) compliance requirements; therefore, candidates must be a lawful permanent resident [8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20)] or a protected individual [8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)]
  • Employment of Foreign Persons(s) [22 CFR 120.63] will be contingent on receiving the DSP-5 license from the US State Department
  • All hires are contingent upon a 9-panel hair follicle drug test and background check
  • May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends
  • May be required to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification
  • A minimum of three years of heat-treating experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing/ production environment
  • Experience in training and developing employees
  • Ability to function well within a high-performing team and as a team leader and member
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective relationship management
  • Displays critical evaluation skills
  • The ability to be a servant leader
  • Understand and efficiently use Bluestreak and Microsoft Office software

Desired Qualifications
