Job Summary
Lead, mentor, and provide daily guidance to Quality Engineers and Technicians in a high-volume, 24/7 extrusion manufacturing operation while driving IATF 16949 compliance and continuous improvement. Own training, development, and performance of quality staff; participate in external and internal audits; drive quality initiatives to reduce COPQ and improve process capability and product performance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Manufacturing Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer, ready to advance into a management role.
- Strong working knowledge of Product Launch processes.
- IATF 16949.
- PPAP / APQP.
- Extrusion manufacturing processes.
- Metrology and measurement systems.
- Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement.
- Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma (L6S certification preferred).
- Kepner-Tregoe problem-solving methodology.
- Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
