Job Summary
Manufacturing & Quality Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, implement lean principles, develop SOPs, conduct quality audits and root-cause analyses, collaborate with suppliers, mentor production personnel, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and quality functions. Requires a BS in engineering, 5+ years in manufacturing/quality roles, ISO9001/IPC610/IPC620 experience, proficiency in CAD and quality tools (FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma), and ability to travel up to 25% (Bethlehem, PA to Lenexa, KS).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Demonstrated leadership in ISO9001 audit and continuous improvement, with experience in IPC610 and IPC620 standards
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering and quality engineering roles
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and AS9100
- Proven expertise in quality control tools and techniques such as FMEA, SPC, and Six Sigma
- Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with manufacturing process simulation tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of implementing effective solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ideally based in Bethlehem, PA, with a willingness to travel up to 25% to Lenexa, KS
