Job Summary
Develop and manage quality improvement project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables while creating updates and reporting project status to upper management. Identify process nonconformances, coordinate cross-functional groups to identify solutions, and facilitate kaizen events for continual improvement. Use six sigma or 8D methodology to drive standardization and monitor process performance by gathering data and producing statistical reports. Analyze data to identify patterns and significant factors, ensuring adherence to ISO9001:2015 standards and quality management systems. Solve complex problems by observing directly on the manufacturing floor to impact efficiency and outgoing quality. Act as a mentor for colleagues and translate management vision into tactical actions that drive quality culture improvement at the grass roots.
Required Qualifications
- American Society of Quality Certified Quality Engineer
- 7+ years quality engineering experience
- Project management experience
- Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
- Relocation Eligible: Yes
