Manufacturing Quality Engineer I

Job Summary
Lead quality planning and control activities across assigned products and processes; analyze internal and external quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods; support new product and process launches through APQP, PFMEA, and control plans; ensure compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory quality requirements; coordinate audits, including internal, customer, and third-party quality audits; collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to reduce defects and variation; prepare and present quality performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and control plans
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate quality issues clearly and effectively
