Job Summary
Prepare and submit staging quotes for POS hardware and OEM products by analyzing customer requirements, component complexity, and assembly times. Create and release Engineering Changes and Bills of Materials, then define routing processes, work center assignments, and packaging solutions to meet specific customer needs. Validate the Line Build In process prior to manufacturing, oversee pilot runs, and approve First Article Inspection results to ensure quality protocols are met. Support daily quality activities including hotline approvals, investigations, database analysis, and short ship entries. Coordinate with manufacturers and service teams to deliver configurable, cost-effective solutions aligned with product standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Understand BOMs, part numbering systems, and product compliance standards
- Ability to interpret and validate customer-supplied documentation (e.g, image load, test plans)
- Knowledge of packaging customization and logistics
- Ability to develop cost-efficient quotes based on technical and operational requirements
- Process Design and optimization to define routing processes and approve line build in (LBI)
- Clear and professional communication of technical requirements and solutions
- Attention to detail to review documentation and creating customer changes
