Job Summary
Manufacturing Project Manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing custom HVAC projects from initiation through completion, ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with customer specifications. Will work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and leadership to drive project outcomes, maintain quality, and ensure safety. Key activities include defining scope, timelines, budgets, milestones, developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, monitoring progress, managing budgets, identifying risks, implementing corrective actions, coordinating with cross-functional teams, delegating tasks, providing regular updates to leadership, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field preferred; Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in HVAC, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in MS Project or similar scheduling tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
- Strong decision-making, delegation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
