Manufacturing Programs Manager - Automation & Integration

Job Summary
Lead the portfolio of automation and integration programs supporting AGV/AMR deployment, robotics, and smart factory initiatives across fab, weld, paint, and assembly operations. Establish standards for controls architecture, cybersecurity, and validation criteria while managing vendor selection, procurement, and commissioning of automated material handling systems. Oversee integration of PLCs, SCADA, and robotics with IT infrastructure to enable real-time scheduling and inventory tracking, defining KPIs for equipment uptime, cycle time reduction, and ROI. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop control system standards, ensure safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and change management. Provide executive-level reporting on project roadmaps, financial impact, and operational risks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing, computer science, controls engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, automation engineering, controls integration, or related field
- Significant experience with manufacturing automation systems (AGVs, AMRs, robotics, conveyors, PLCs, SCADA, HMI) and their integration into production environments
- Demonstrated experience with ERP, MES, WMS, or similar enterprise systems integration in manufacturing
- Proven track record leading cross-functional programs that span automation deployment, controls integration, and IT/OT convergence
- Valid driver's license (implied by travel requirement and location)
- Ability to pass a background and drug test
