Job Summary
The Manufacturing Program Manager at Johnson Controls is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing manufacturing programs to support operational excellence, new product introductions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end management of manufacturing projects, developing program schedules, conducting risk assessments, and driving readiness for new product introductions. The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and excellent analytical and organizational skills. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of relevant experience. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is necessary, and the position may require traveling up to 50%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience managing programs or complex projects in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, operations, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Able to travel up to 50% of the time
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing scale-up
- Lean Six Sigma training or certification
- PMP, Agile, or other formal project management certification
- Experience working in multinational or matrixed organizations
