Job Summary
Manufacturing Production Technician II responsible for assembling components, performing mechanical and/or electrical assemblies, inspecting and testing products per written procedures, and operating a range of manufacturing equipment. Collaborates with line teammates to meet daily production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. Requires reading and understanding instructions, attention to detail, ability to adapt to changing roles in a fast-paced environment, and the capability to communicate effectively with engineering and technical support; must maintain certifications and adhere to health and safety regulations. Associate-level or postsecondary credential and 2+ years of related experience preferred; physical capability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; skilled in hand and power tools and reading assembly drawings.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or postsecondary certificate in related discipline preferred
- 2+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and other work-related documents
- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination; ability to manipulate small parts
- Proficient with computers; strong communication skills; team-oriented
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs; prolonged standing; ability to differentiate colors
