Job Summary
Execute assembly-type functions using hand and/or power tools while performing simple machine maintenance and repairs. Maintain work areas and equipment in clean, orderly conditions by strictly adhering to prescribed safety regulations and wearing proper safety attire. Operate various pieces of equipment and machinery after reading and understanding instruction manuals, then package completed items for shipping and keep records of materials and equipment. Perform basic math computations and computer data entry while using measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools. This full-time role pays $20-$23/hour with medical, dental, vision, and PTO benefits. Shifts run Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm with occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 60 pounds
- Ability to climb a ladder up to 15 feet high
- Ability to walk/stand throughout entire shift
- Ability to pinch and grasp hand tools
- Ability to twist, bend, and reach upward
- Ability to handle small screws, washers, fasteners
- Ability to read, understand, and follow documented processes and procedures
- Ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry
- Ability to use measuring devices, hand tools, and power tools
- Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to repetitively perform tasks
- Ability to perform simple machine maintenance and repairs
