Job Summary
The Manufacturing Production Technician is responsible for the safe manufacturing, forming, finishing, and packaging of refractory products. This role involves operating equipment and machinery, maintaining quality by adhering to guidelines, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities include auditing the manufacturing process for quality control, operating various transport machinery, and promoting safety culture. Physical requirements include frequent standing and lifting up to 100 pounds, with a work environment that includes exposure to noise and moving mechanical parts.
Required Qualifications
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent
- Some manufacturing experience helpful
- Understanding of basic safety/OSHA standards
- Mechanical aptitude
Desired Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Two (2) – four (4) years of previous machine operating or production related experience preferred
