Job Summary
Provide direct supervision through leadership, coaching, training, and performance feedback while allocating work assignments. Lead team members during evening, overnight, and weekend shifts to meet plant objectives in safety, quality, service, productivity, and engagement. Execute on the planned production schedule, coordinate daily work assignments, and prepare incoming shifts for success. Support shift administration activities including time reporting, attendance control, and vacation planning. Perform regular safety coaching and ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of manufacturing and/or production experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- High School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start)
- Seven (7) years of manufacturing and/or production experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience in continuous production operations setting
- Previous leadership experience, including team lead and/or supervisory experience
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
- Must be available for evening, overnight, and/or weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong communication skills (oral, written, and presentation)
- Previous experience supervising hourly direct reports
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, Solventum corporate systems relevant to Plant Operations
