Job Summary
Manage day-to-day assignments for 10-15 employees in a fast-paced, multi-shift microelectronics fabrication environment while ensuring all products meet contractual quality, cost, and schedule requirements. Plan, organize, and direct production flow using available control systems to identify root causes of failure modes and implement corrective action plans. Enforce company policies, track time and attendance, and lead safety and continuous improvement initiatives through employee training and cross-training. Schedule and cost accountability workloads with forecasting to assess production capacity and resolve staffing issues. Maintain a safe work environment while managing high volume/low mix manufacturing lines. This role supports the SAW Module Fab Value Stream within the Microelectronics Operations Team at Raytheon in Andover, MA.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- University Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field
- 3 years experience
- Supervisory, leadership, and/or manufacturing experience
- Experience with microelectronics fabrication
- Ability to operate within a clean room environment
- Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Previous leadership and management experience in manufacturing or similar environments
- Experience utilizing business systems and tools that aid in managing labor, processes, and budgets
- Onsite work in Andover, MA
- 3rd shift availability
