Job Summary

Mount parts, fabricate sheet metal enclosures, and assemble power stacks using hand and electric tools per job shop instructions. Install power wire and wire harnesses while adhering to company workmanship standards and torque tolerance requirements. Perform quality checks with measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications. Complete other duties as assigned and maintain quality and productivity standards within the team. This role offers cross-training opportunities in wireharness, stacks, and fabrication departments to enhance skills.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire
  • 0-2 years' demonstrated fabrication, sheet metal, carpentry or related experience
  • Possess the basic understanding of measuring, torque tolerance and hardware assembly
  • Ability to work independently to complete milestones
  • Demonstrated ability to meet quality and productivity standards within team
  • Good time-management skills and ability to set priorities
  • Availability and willingness to work hours as needed to meet critical deadlines
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, customer service and teamwork
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, up to 8 or more hours per shift, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and repetitive use of the hands and arms to perform job duties
  • Must be able to use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing equipment safely and effectively
  • Requires sufficient visual acuity to inspect parts, read work instructions, and perform quality checks
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment that may include exposure to noise, moving machinery, varying temperatures, and other industrial conditions while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Possess the basic understanding of measuring to 1/32nd of an inch with a temp measurer, torque tolerance and hardware assembly
