The Manufacturing Procurement Specialist role involves collaboration with global and local teams for effective planning, order management, and supplier selection. Responsibilities include negotiating quotes, ensuring compliance with procurement protocols, and driving continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years of applicable direct purchasing/material requirement planning or comparable relevant experience
  • Solid SAP system knowledge as a user of 'Buy' module is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration and influencing techniques, result-orientation and strategic-innovative thinking required
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude and problem-resolution focus

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Power Generation products/supply market
  • Advanced technical knowledge (like reading and understanding technical drawings, specifications)
  • Advanced analytical skills to handle, transform, understand and use large data volumes (preferred Microsoft Excel)
  • Strong intercultural sensitivity and outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience facilitating or participating in continuous process improvement projects
