Manufacturing Process Engineer - Weekend Shift

Job Summary
Define working phase sequences for new and established production processes to achieve targeted product costs and equipment budgets. Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from concept through startup, certification, and ramp, while assessing performance via data analysis to improve cycle times and ergonomics. Design specifications for testing equipment and maintain process standards including operating instructions and quality documentation. Execute continuous improvement initiatives, support new product introductions, and eliminate ergonomic hazards. This onsite weekend shift role (Friday–Sunday) within ABB Smart Power focuses on standardizing lean-based improvements across the facility expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- CAD or AutoCAD skills
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
- Weekend Shift schedule: Friday - Sunday 6am-4pm
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma principles and other process related standards
