Job Summary

Monitor equipment performance, diagnose faults, and repair breakdowns while directing maintenance technicians on troubleshooting and machinery repair. Prepare and maintain comprehensive process and equipment documentation, including setup matrices, schematics, and work instructions. Select components for industrial automation to modify and improve existing systems, then plan and conduct process characterizations to implement corrective actions. Lead projects to optimize OEE, MTBF, and MTTR through advanced manufacturing problem-solving and Lean Manufacturing principles. Support new model introductions by developing tooling, validating setups, and updating documentation while mentoring peers on Total Productive Maintenance programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling (AutoCAD / Solidworks/ Inventor)
  • Knowledge of programming languages (C++, visual basic, python, ladder logic)
  • At leats 2 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Available and willing to assist and support after-hours equipment and process issues remotely or, if needed, in person
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • PLC and HMI programming – Basic knowledge of Rockwell Studio 5000 and Factory Talk packages and Siemens TIA Portal
  • Experience with Industrial and collaborative Robots (Fanuc, Staubli, UR, TM)
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices (Kanban, Poke-Yoke, JIT, Value Stream Mapping)
  • Basic knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) tools
  • Data analytics: use of software packages (MS Excel / Power BI / Knime)
  • Knowledge in interpretation of mechanical drawings and pneumatic and electrical schematics
  • Knowledge in the use of mechanical and electrical power tools and measurement devices
