Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Summary
Collaborate with manufacturing departments to develop prints, bills of materials, routings, and quality controls including Process FMEAs and Control Plans. Create 2D and 3D tooling models, lead Build Events during APQP for new products, and guide engineers on part feasibility. Support capacity analysis for existing and new products while applying Lean techniques to reduce waste and improve performance. Troubleshoot manufacturing issues alongside production teams and assist in root cause analysis for customer and internal problems. Manage updates to engineering prints, standards, and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in manufacturing industry
- product and or tooling, development for metal manufacturing (fastener) experience
- Working knowledge of APQP or equivalent gated product development processes
- Working knowledge of Lean techniques
- Elevated proficiency with Microsoft Office software package; specifically, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong experience with 2D and 3D CAD software
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
- ability to effectively communicate and connect with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strategic mindset with ability to anticipate future trends, while translating those insights into actionable strategy
- Capable of building credibility and influencing the actions, behaviors, and mindset of others without direct authority

Desired Qualifications
- Automotive industry is highly beneficial
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in manufacturing industry, product and or tooling, development for metal manufacturing (fastener) experience desired
- preferably AutoCAD and SolidWorks
