Job Summary
The Industrial Automation Engineer is responsible for modernizing and automating production lines dedicated to laboratory industry, with on-site duties in Marseille. In this role you will understand functional requirements and translate them into feasible proposals within budget, collaborate with suppliers on the development of automated industrial systems, manage commissioning and industrialization including startup of automated equipment and associated documentation, and conduct testing (FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ) in regulated environments. You will optimize line performance in terms of throughput, quality, and reliability, and contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing breakdowns, identifying root causes, and proposing solutions to enhance productivity. The position aligns with Beckman Coulter Life Sciences and Danaher’s focus on time-to-answer and automation in life sciences. #LI-Onsite
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree (Master’s level / Bac+5) in automation and industrial computing, or equivalent
- Experience (3+ years) in industrial automation
