Job Summary
Plan project activities, timelines, and priorities while managing multiple engineering priorities and adapting to changing requirements. Lead projects for new product implementation and manufacturing process development, developing and implementing process improvements and solutions. Analyze existing processes to recommend corrective actions, identify and resolve manufacturing issues using sound engineering judgment, and support new product introduction. Communicate project status, challenges, and deadlines with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and vendors. Travel occasionally as needed to support projects.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with process improvement, troubleshooting, or new product implementation
- 5+ years of experience in process, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering or strong entry‐level engineering experience with relevant internships/co‐ops
- Candidates within a reasonable commuting distance of Clarksburg, WV
Desired Qualifications
- Glass manufacturing or fabrication experience (cutting, seaming, machining, screen printing)
- Experience with project management tools (Gantt charts, resource planning, constraint management)
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with technical data, measurements, documentation, and small components
- Experience in advanced manufacturing, photonics, precision materials, or similar high‐tolerance production environments
