Job Summary
Define preventive and corrective maintenance plans based on downtime, OEE, scrap, and FTQ performance. Review process setups to ensure machines operate under correct parameters and specification. Perform MSA, capability studies, thermal profiles, and strain analysis for assigned equipment and tooling. Define standard work for technicians and utilize structured problem-solving methodologies for resolution. Support the response team with corrective actions for assembly plants and warranty returns. Participate in operational meetings, define spare parts setups, and review PFMEA to match QP blocks. Conduct safety tours, process audits, and kaizen initiatives to reduce cycle time and implement error proofing. Quote and order equipment from local and global suppliers while supporting new launches and transfer projects.
Required Qualifications
- Completed bachelor's degree
- Advanced English: written and spoken
- 2 years of experience in similar position
- Experience in automotive industry
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes: Full automated processes (using EPSON Robots or similar)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes: Adhesive dispensing system
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes: Plastic welding machines (laser/vibration)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes: AOI system, vision system and scanners
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes: Assembly process (screwdriving, pin insertion, heated stake, press)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes: Depanelization (long blade, router/milling)
- Hands-on in maintenance activities for machine and equipment
- Experience in preventive maintenance for industrial assembly equipment
- Knowledge to develop, update and review: PFMEA, MSA, CPK, Quality Plan, Process setup
- High level of analytical ability
- Understanding machine drawings
- Understanding mechanical/ electrical/ pneumatic drawings
- Knowledge on IATF 16949 and Customer Specific Requirements
- Experience with root cause analysis tools (3L5W, Ishikawa, Pareto)
- Effective leadership
