Manufacturing Process Engineer - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from concept through production ramp while defining working phase sequences to meet cost and budget targets. Assess process performance by analyzing data to ensure optimal cycle times, equipment capability, and ergonomics. Define, implement, and maintain process and test standards, including operating instructions, visual documentation, and test equipment specifications. Execute continuous improvement initiatives, engineering change implementations, and new product introduction support within the ABB Smart Power division. Work onsite in Senatobia, MS on a 2nd shift schedule (Monday-Thursday, 7pm-5am). Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least one year of manufacturing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- CAD or AutoCAD skills
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
- 2nd Shift schedule: Monday - Thursday 7pm-5am
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, six sigma principles and other process related standards
- Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
- Experience in process simulations
