Job Summary
The Manufacturing Process Controls Engineer is responsible for directing and participating in a culture of continuous improvement in manufacturing equipment systems controls. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and process issues on production equipment, developing functional specifications for production systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have advanced knowledge of PLC programming, particularly Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, and experience in machine safety standards. This role requires effective collaboration skills for cross-functional projects and experience in mentoring employees on process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3 – 5 years of controls, automation and electrical trouble-shooting and machine start up experience
- Experience with Rockwell PLCs / HMI
