Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems while diagnosing technical issues and implementing solutions. Operate essential material handling equipment, control processes from computer terminals, and perform preventive maintenance on high-speed converting and packing machinery. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and adhere to safety and quality protocols during all tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal performance and provide technical support or training when required. This role involves rotating hours including evenings, weekends, and nights at the Phoenix plant, with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours daily.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- Able and willing to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
- Able and willing to work overtime as needed to meet business needs
- Punctual and consistent attendance
- Able to display skills in manufacturing processes, including operating, maintaining and cleaning automated equipment
- Maintaining accurate records and data
- Display strong technical, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Operating essential material handling equipment at the site e.g., clamp truck, forklift, hand trucks, etc.
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping
- Climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders and platforms
- Twist, turn and bend
- Enter confined spaces
- Stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time
- Able to wear proper PPE including: safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, PAPR (Powered Air-Purifying Respirator)
- Able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a technician role or related field
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems
