Job Summary
Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems through investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning. Create cost-effective, safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools while designing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls to optimize efficiency and quality. Uphold standards for machine capability, process maps, set-ups, and quality controls, generating work instructions and standardized work to meet specifications. Develop and document processes for laser cutting, CNC, panel benders, and fin presses, partnering with EHS to ensure OSHA compliance. Serve as a voice of the customer for new design input. Requires previous manufacturing experience, PFMEA knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software. On-site full-time role in McGregor, TX with a salary range of $60,000 to $109,340.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design
- Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships
- Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software experience
- Hands-on experience in CNC systems, laser cutting systems, Panel Benders, troubleshooting knowledge
- Familiarity with Oracle systems
- Growth mindset – desire to expand technical skillset
- Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus
- Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines; relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Pass additional drug screening
