Manufacturing Planner / Scheduler II

Job Summary
Develop and maintain production schedules that balance customer needs, inventory targets, capacity, and operational priorities while minimizing EO levels. Monitor production performance to proactively identify risks to supply, delivery, or efficiency, and analyze data, trends, and constraints to make informed planning decisions. Partner closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues, maintain planning master data including Bills of Materials and routings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that optimize production flow. Communicate priorities, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders at all levels to support a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree with no prior experience required, or Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or a related environment
- Experience working with data to support decision-making and problem-solving
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Industrial, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within a regulated industry
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or similar supply chain certification
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with inventory management, capacity planning, and production scheduling
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with GMP/FDA regulated environments
- Track record of identifying opportunities for improvement and driving positive change
