Job Summary
Develop and maintain master production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability. Plan and schedule material requirements to support production needs and customer delivery commitments while coordinating expedited material flow between suppliers, warehouses, and production areas. Monitor and adjust schedules to address changes in demand, capacity constraints, or material shortages, and analyze MRP/ERP data to identify and resolve planning discrepancies. Collaborate with Procurement, Production, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment on priorities, drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, and prepare planning metrics reports for leadership. Optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory while ensuring operational alignment with production plan KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to talk, hear, and frequently sit
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Close vision
- Color vision
- Ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work in very loud noise levels
- Ability to wear ear protection
- Ability to work near moving mechanical parts
- Ability to work near airborne particles
- Ability to work near chemicals
- Ability to work near electrical hazards
- Ability to work near explosives
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing scheduling, production planning, or operations coordination
- ERP/MRP system experience
- Epicor experience
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations
- Experience in electrical equipment manufacturing, industrial, manufacturing, or construction environments
- Familiarity with BOM structures, production workflows, and material planning
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
