Job Summary
Manufacturing Planner – Mechanical Production: Program, simulate, and support mechanical machining operations in production using CAD/CAM systems. Select cutting tools and implement workpiece clamping/fixturing concepts. Define workflows, manufacturing and process-time standards, and document them in routing/production plans. Specify complex process flows for manufacturing demanding mechanical components, considering industrial engineering, technical, and economic factors. Independently and with a team, identify and eliminate root causes of disruptions to ensure on-time, defect-free delivery. Act as a central interface between Production, Engineering, Production Control, Design and R&D. Evaluate production equipment and tooling for capacity and cost, and support procurement. Requires State-certified Technician qualification or comparable vocational qualification with further training as a Technician, with at least 3 years of experience in mechanical machining, NC programming, and production planning/work preparation; strong CAD/CAM knowledge (SolidCAM, PEPS); SAP/MES, MS Office, and SharePoint proficiency; fluent German and good English.
Required Qualifications
- State-certified Technician qualification or comparable vocational qualification with further training as a Technician
- At least 3 years of professional experience in mechanical machining, NC programming and production planning / work preparation
- Very good knowledge of CAD/CAM applications (SolidCAM, PEPS) and expertise in machining strategies
- Strong teamwork, self-motivation, and analytical work style
- Experience with REFA methods for process times
- Good knowledge of SAP/MES, MS Office and SharePoint
- Fluent German and good English
