Manufacturing Planner

Job Summary
Manufacturing Scheduler/Planner coordinates and maintains master production schedules, plans material requirements, expedites material flow between suppliers and production areas, monitors schedules to address demand/capacity changes, optimizes inventory, analyzes MRP/ERP data (Epicor preferred), collaborates with Procurement, Production, and Engineering to align on priorities and timelines, and drives process improvements to reduce lead times. Responsible for preparing planning metrics and reports, ensuring alignment with KPIs, supporting cost-reduction initiatives, and maintaining accurate planning data in ERP systems. Emphasizes safety, inclusion, speed, innovation, judgment, and accountability in a collaborative, high-energy environment. Requires 2+ years in manufacturing scheduling or related roles, ERP/MRP experience, strong Excel/Office skills, and an HS diploma (assoc/bachelor’s preferred).
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing scheduling, production planning, or operations coordination
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- ERP/MRP system experience preferred (Epicor strongly preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
