Job Summary
Operator I role is an entry-level manufacturing position focused on reliably building small, delicate, patient-critical Connexus BCI components. The role executes released manufacturing work instructions with precision in a cleanroom or controlled environment, performing fine manual assembly under microscopes, completing GDP-compliant documentation with lot tracking and observations, and maintaining contagion-control and gowning standards. This position involves training and qualification activities, clear communication with operators, technicians, engineers, and quality teams, and contributing to a culture of quality, safety, organization, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience performing intricate, fine manual work in manufacturing, laboratory, technical, craft, or hobby environments requiring precision and patience.
- Demonstrated ability to follow written work instructions exactly as released without undocumented deviations.
- Comfort working under microscopes or magnification for sustained periods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus during repetitive, high-precision tasks.
- Clear written documentation skills with the ability to accurately record production information and observations.
- Coachable mindset and willingness to learn through hands-on training and feedback.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively in a cleanroom or controlled environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
