Job Summary
Operate and monitor automated equipment across mixing, coating, calendaring, stacking, electrolyte filling, formation, grading, and final inspection steps while performing in-process quality inspections and documenting results. Handle raw materials and semi-finished cells in controlled environments, adhering to safety, cleanliness, and ISO standards. Identify and address equipment or process issues to maintain high yield production and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Work rotating shifts in clean-room or dry-room environments lifting up to 40 lbs. Support production of high-performance pouch and cylindrical cells for defense and commercial unmanned systems as the facility ramps into full-scale operations in 2026.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and operate automated or semi-automated equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliability and willingness to learn technical manufacturing processes
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed
- Comfort working in clean-room or dry-room environments with appropriate PPE
- Willingness to learn the intricacies of technical manufacturing processes
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods

Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certificate in manufacturing, engineering technology, electronics, automation, or a related field
- Prior experience in battery manufacturing or similar clean-room production environments
- Familiarity with mechanical equipment, quality inspection tools, basic troubleshooting, and ISO-controlled environments
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, 5S practices, and statistical process control (SPC)
- Experience with mechanical equipment operation, quality inspection tools, or basic troubleshooting
