Job Summary
Set up, operate, and maintain progressive die press machines, auxiliary equipment, saws, and automated machinery to produce quality products according to blueprint specifications. Check material for correct size, type, and configuration; assist with die setup and equipment adjustment; and use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify adherence to specifications. Move materials using pallet jacks, lift trucks, or cranes as needed, and install safety devices for specific jobs. Report faulty equipment, defective material, and unusual conditions to supervisors. Adhere to all safe work procedures and maintain a neat work area. Perform related duties as assigned, which may require working beyond normal shift hours.
