Job Summary
The Manufacturing Operator performs essential duties in the preparation and manufacturing of pharmaceutical ingredients and medical devices, adhering to established specifications and safety regulations. Responsibilities include operating and cleaning production equipment, completing batch records, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and standard operating procedures. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role requires effective teamwork, basic math skills, and the ability to communicate clearly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a related regulated manufacturing industry
- Ability to read, write, and understand Basic English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to communicate and effectively work as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
- Operating skills of manufacturing equipment, tools, and hand/forks trucks
- Knowledge of DCS and SAP systems
- Basic PC navigation for data entry and use of software applications
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing and able to meet the physical demands of this job
- Must have the ability to work from ladders or platforms up to 30 feet in the air
- Must be able to qualify for respiratory protective equipment use
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts required which may include days and/or nights
