Job Summary
Operate manufacturing equipment for material fabrication and target bonding, including saws, grinders, sanders, bonding equipment, laser engravers, and computers. Monitor customer backing plate transfers via computer program, cross-train on C-Scan of targets and assemblies, and finish clean and vacuum seal targets in the clean room. Create spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and maintain proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and measuring instruments. Requires high school diploma, six months manufacturing experience, and ability to lift up to 45 pounds. Flexible schedule and hours dependent on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months previous manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as shop orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals
- Math skills
- Computer skills
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
- Must be able to work flexible schedule and hours dependent upon business needs/as necessary
- Export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology (ITAR/EAR)
- U.S. citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, Asylee, Refugee, or eligible national with letter of assurance
