Job Summary
Inspect, disassemble, clean, and rebuild modules for VITROS certified analyzers per established work instructions on a Medical Device Manufacturing line. Prepare and maintain the work area, adhering to 5S standards and quality protocols for finished product. Learn from a lead trainer, maintain tools safely, and follow electrostatic discharge protocols including foot, wrist, and jacket protection. Execute ergonomic safe assembly while promoting ISO and Good Manufacturing practices. Deliver assigned tasks to a project plan timeline and flex between project deliverables. Travel with Field Engineers up to 10% of the time for ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3 years minimum electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to lift and place components up to 50lbs unassisted
- Detail orientated
- Quality minded
- Active team member with can do attitude
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 75lbs
- Travel with Field Engineers up to 10% of the time
- Knowledge of ISO and Good Manufacturing practices for Medical Devices
