Job Summary
Manufacturing Operator I is responsible for set-up of production machinery on the shop floor, including die-set-up and material changes, and for the continuous operation of presses and CDCH coating lines to meet rate and quality standards. duties include prep/coating/sheet separating/deframing of gaskets, troubleshooting to maintain quality, stocking machines with material, light maintenance, completing paperwork and BPCS transactions, and adhering to safety policies; requires high school diploma or equivalent and willingness to work extended hours. The role supports Alkegen’s manufacturing of battery technologies, filtration media, and insulation materials.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Highly motivated.
- Strong time management and priorities management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Excel.
- BPCS experience a plus.
