Job Summary
Manufacturing Operator in Newport, DE responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing of high-quality products. Responsibilities include following specifications and work instructions, installing fixtures and tooling, aligning machine settings, activating machinery, monitoring operations, inspecting materials and equipment for defects, moving materials, recording data, and supporting safety and environmental standards. Must have a High School Diploma or GED (or 10 years related manufacturing experience), be fluent in English, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and operate in a 24/7 plant environment. Requires unrestricted U.S. employment authorization and no visa sponsorship needed now or in the future.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or 10 years directly related manufacturing experience
- Fluency in English, verbal and written
- Good hands-on mechanical ability with a general knowledge of machines and tools
- General knowledge of computer operation in an industrial environment
- Self starter who can manage workloads with minimum supervision
