Job Summary
Operate and troubleshoot production equipment on 2nd/3rd shifts at Georgia Nut in Skokie, IL. Responsibilities include manual lifting of products into/out of production equipment, monitoring and maintaining equipment, following SOPs and safety guidelines, performing routine checks, accurately completing production logs and inventory records, and collaborating with team members to communicate production issues. Demonstrates attention to detail, safety, and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a repetitive-motion environment
- Basic math, reading, and mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision
