Manufacturing Operator, 2nd Shift ( Onsite)

This is a 2nd Shift onsite manufacturing operator role at Pratt & Whitney in Wells, ME. The position includes a 3-week training program and 4-8 weeks of on-the-job training to learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes or VTCs, and to verify conformance of finished work using precision measuring instruments. You will learn to perform grinding, turning, facing, boring and chamfering operations, obtain operator certification, and collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel to resolve machining problems and assist in part process development. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. This is a Monday-Thursday 4-10 hour shift (3:30pm-1:30am) onsite role with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training and advancement within aerospace manufacturing.
