Job Summary
Manufacturing Operations Supervisor responsible for leading non-exempt production staff at the Corvallis site, overseeing pen cartridge R&D and production, managing external vendor engagement for product assembly and parts, setting team goals and schedules, ensuring safety and documentation, collaborating with Engineering on test methods and yield, and driving financial performance, budgets, and performance metrics across the department. The role requires strong leadership, project management, financial acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to mentor staff while delivering process and tooling improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills including coaching, teambuilding, and conflict resolution
- Fundamental project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring
- Solid financial and spreadsheet skills
- Ability to understand the customer’s business issue and strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in manufacturing or production management
- Typical emphasis on budget planning, performance metrics, and cost tracking
- Clear written and verbal communication, including negotiation and influence
- First-level university degree (preferred in industrial engineering)
- 5 or more years of related work experience, including 0-2 years of people management experience
