Job Summary
Manufacturing Operations Financial Analyst responsible for integrating FP&A discipline with manufacturing operations. Own budgets, forecasts, EACs, and ETCs; analyze labor efficiency, material usage, yield, scrap/rework, and throughput to explain cost, margin, schedule, and delivery impacts. Investigate variances at execution, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with Program Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering to evaluate cost, capacity, labor, material, and schedule trade-offs. Build dashboards and briefings to turn data into decisions for program and operations leaders; support financial reviews and compliance with Leidos policy. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience; strong Excel and Power BI skills; US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance. This position is based in the Huntsville, AL area with a flexible/hybrid work option and purposeful on-site time tied to collaboration and program execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant program finance and analysis experience
- Forecasting, cost analysis, variance analysis, and financial modeling experience
- Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of Power BI, databases, or reporting tools
- Ability to connect manufacturing metrics to financial outcomes (cost, margin, schedule, delivery)
- Clear communication skills for cross-functional stakeholders
- US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance as needed
