Job Summary
Set up, run, and maintain all sections of the bindery machine while troubleshooting and performing minor repairs to equipment. Interpret work instructions and accurately record production data. Exercise initiative to ask questions and identify ways to improve productivity. Operate machinery with basic tools and read measurements, with training provided for bindery-specific tasks. Work on a fast-paced production floor, standing for most of the shift and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally. Join a team building books, catalogs, and printed materials for daily use.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- High school diploma/GED
- Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
