Job Summary
Set up, run, and maintain all sections of the bindery machine while troubleshooting and performing minor repairs to equipment. Interpret work instructions and accurately record production data. Exercise initiative to ask questions and identify ways to improve productivity. Operate machinery with a high school diploma or GED, demonstrating mechanical aptitude and reliability in a fast-paced production environment. Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. No prior bindery experience required; training provided for those with general machinery operation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- High school diploma/GED
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
