Job Summary
Set up, run, and maintain all sections of the bindery machine while troubleshooting and performing minor repairs to equipment. Interpret work instructions, record production data accurately, and exercise initiative to improve productivity. Operate machinery with basic mechanical skills, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and work on a fast-paced production floor. No prior bindery experience required; we provide full training for candidates with general machinery experience. Join a team building books and catalogs that people use daily.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- High school diploma/GED
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
