Job Summary
Set up, run, and maintain all sections of the bindery machine while troubleshooting and performing minor repairs to equipment. Interpret work instructions, record production data accurately, and exercise initiative to identify productivity improvements. Operate machinery with basic tools, read measurements and decimals, and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally in a fast-paced production environment. Reliability and teamwork are essential for this hands-on role where we provide full training for candidates with no prior bindery experience.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- High school diploma/GED
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
